306 - Colouring hair
For this unit, you will do 4 practical observations. During 3 of these you must cover all of the following at least once:
Slicing, weaving and block colour (must cover each technique)
Quasi or semi permanent or toner
Permanent colour
Lightener
Combinations of techniques
Combinations of colour
You then need to do 1 observation for a colour correction covering one of the following:
Base too dark
Base too light
Colour fade
Colouring resistant hair
Restoring depth and tone
Neutralising tone
410 - Colour correction
For this unit you will do 4 observations and cover the following:
Remove bands and seepage
Remove artifical colour
Restoring depth and tone
Colour correction of own choice

At level 3, you should be working towards writing at A level standard. This means you should writing clear descriptive sentences that describe the services carried out with as much detail as possible.
Remember to check your spelling and grammer and ensure your write up is clear and defined.
